SREF was founded to address the urgent need for education among Sudanese refugees displaced by conflict. Without access to schooling, many children and young adults face limited opportunities and ongoing hardship. Our commitment is simple: provide free, high-quality education to those who need it most.

Our team is diverse, with members bringing expertise from various fields, but we are all bound by our common roots and our commitment to providing education to displaced Sudanese refugees. Together, we channel our skills, resources, and passion into creating opportunities for those who need them most.
We are a collective of Sudanese diaspora scattered across the globe, united by a shared sense of responsibility and a deep desire to help our fellow Sudanese in need. Feeling helpless as we watched the ongoing crisis unfold, we knew we had to take action. That’s why we founded the Sudanese Refugee Educational Fund (SREF)—to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have been forced to flee their homes.
